R+ Washable Face Mask

Everyone has a duty to do their part in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, which is hitting hard the whole world. As creators, we put our efforts towards designing a Washable Face Mask, with the purpose of helping the population by containing the coronavirus transmission through saliva droplets.

As things are, the limited supplies of FFP2 and FFP3 masks with valve should be saved for medical professionals and emergency operators who have to come into close contact with infected patients, while FFP2 and FFP3 masks without valve should be used by Military and Law Enforcement personnel. The rest of the population is advised to wear surgical or comparable masks, like our R+ Washable Face Mask.

This mask is made of a double layer of Durastretch 520E 4 ways elastic fabric, which is soft, comfortable, and makes it greatly suitable for various face shapes. The inner part features two laser cut slots for inserting filtration sheets.

It features two adjustable elastic bands, one behind the neck and one over the head, made of 1/8″ shock cord. A large laser cut pad is applied over the head in order to enhance adaptability to different head shapes.

The mask is reusable and machine-washable up to 95 ºC (203 ºF), in order to be sanitized and worn again. Although, in order to lenghten its lifespan, we suggest to wash it at 60 ºC (140 ºF), using an antibacterial washing powder. Even after the pandemic ends, it will remain a trustworthy weather protection or, if paired with an adequate filter, from airborne dangers such as pollution agents.
